Don’t Work Too Hard

16 Nov

Every time I have a conversation with my father when I’m about to go into my job, he says to me “don’t work too hard.”

As I heard the advice, it seemed so counter intuitive; but this really may be our only option when it comes to our role in this society.

We are born and bred to work. It seems the motivation behind everything we do is because we are working, or working on getting a job. Most jobs that are available don’t place you in a position to stop working anytime soon.

Our Capitalistic Democratic Republic suggests that there is an even playing field. However, in a world where work is a requisite for societal enablement for some, and those who are excluded are the few who decide the fate of the many… they decide whether you have a job, how much it will pay, how hard you will work for it… and outside of your job they determine how much money you will sacrifice for necessary services and goods.

In the end, it’s a loop that seems to never end unless you come from a lineage of the Illuminati. So there is no need jeopardizing your health with stress, worry or fatigue from the job.

If you’re going to be stuck at work, and you have to be there tomorrow… then do your job, just don’t work TOO hard.
